Balm Pelt was mentored by his mother, Spider, but was stuck in the medicine cat den for the first moon of his apprenticeship due to whitecough. Balm Pelt graduated early at ten moons old, and was honored for his prudence. He discovered a queen and her kits alongside Rock Ear and Dogwood Foot while on patrol.
Balm Pelt mentored Twig Leaf and Dock Stone. Balm Pelt met with Chickadee and Breeze in his dreams. On Moon 69, he became mates with Thrush Pelt. He was buried alive in snow and passed away.

Balm Pelt was a short-furred, blue broken-mackerel tabby tom with green tea eyes. He was of average height (10.55"), with an intermediate body type.
